A robust full spectrum or zero crossing passive bat detector, with integrated GPS. Recording cycles can be programmed easily and it has the option to automatically follow sunset-sunrise cycles, with specific offsets. Can support large SD cards and comes with one slot (512 GB – SanDisk Extreme Pro). It comes equipped with an acoustic microphone and needs a separate low-profile microphone for ultrasonic monitoring (bats). It can support two acoustic mics for stereo recordings. It can be protected by an external case. The device is powered only by 4 AA batteries. Can record intermittent ultrasound and acoustic sessions in the same mission, as the microphones can be attached in the same device (slot A – acoustic, slot B – ultrasonic), but not at the same time (e.g., acoustics by day and ultrasonic by night, or 1 hour of acoustics and 1 hour of ultrasonic missions). The mics can be extended using a small gooseneck attachment (16.5 cm).
